My Story
Dylan Hartley Limited was founded on a simple principle: that every home deserves furniture and cabinetry that is as beautiful as it is functional. What began as a one-person workshop in Jackfield has grown into a respected bespoke joinery business, serving homeowners, architects, designers, and institutions across Shropshire, the West Midlands, and beyond.
Over the past fifteen years, we have built our reputation on three core values: meticulous craftsmanship, honest communication, and an unwavering commitment to quality. We do not rush our work. Our Approach
We begin every project with a thorough consultation. We visit your home or building, take precise measurements, understand your vision, and discuss your budget and timeline. We listen more than we talk. We ask questions. We explore options. And we always provide a transparent, itemised quotation before any work begins.
Once you have approved the design, your project moves to our workshop. Here, we hand-select timber, carefully plan each piece, and build everything to exacting standards. We use traditional joinery techniques combined with modern tools and methods. We do not use cheap veneers or particle board. We work with solid timber, quality plywood, and premium hardware. And we test every door, drawer, and hinge before it leaves the workshop.
Finally, we manage the installation ourselves, working with our trusted network of electricians, plumbers, and plasterers to ensure a seamless finish. We leave your home clean and tidy. We explain how to care for your new furniture. And we remain available for any questions or adjustments long after the project is complete.
